Like Fuzzy I picked up my first pair of at a local drug store about 10 year years ago. Black classic flip flops- and fell in love and have not stopped wearing them since or purchase another brand. My first pair lasted about a year- because I literally wore them every day- when they finall gave in I found this site and ordered back ups.

Since then I feel I have become an Okabashi ambassador- every person I have recommended them to, who tried them, has become a loyal follower like me-- 4 sisters, 1 brother in law, 5 friends, 6 co-workers-- -strangers on and on. I even gave these as a wedding gift to a couple who fell in love with them after I forced them try a pair on their vacation.

I love my Okabashi's and they love me

anyone in el paso texas is crazy to wear anything else, 360 days a year. the other 5 i may give you a break if we actually have any snow that year. i always keep a backup pair. get 'em at mesa/shadow mountain walgreens! yay okibashi!

The Best Flip-Flops

I didn't know that I could be this excited about flip-flops. The material is flexible and rubbery, making them feel like a part of me. I forget that I am wearing them. The molded, beaded footbed is perfectly done. These will probably replace my Birkenstocks. I also love the looks. They definitely look more expensive than they really are. The style goes with semi-casual dresses, jeans, and shorts.

I have found the perfect flip flop. The colors range from basic (black, brown) to bright (turquoise) and are affordable enough to buy several pair per season. They are comfortable and don't slip around the pool like other flip flops do. The front portion is cut in a deep V so that it flatters your foot and fits well...and that sole! It's like walking on marshmallows! The fact that they are MADE IN THE USA was a major selling point to me, plus they have a recycling program! Living in Southern California, we wear flip flops year round, so having stylish, affordable and eco-friendly footwear hits the fashion trifecta! I would like to see metallics and something with glitter in the future, we like to wear flip flops at night too... (I can see it now:The Hollywood Collection)!

The absolute best sandals ever

My sister turned me onto these 3.5 yrs ago when I visited her in FL. I was having major Plantar Fasciitis issues in both my feet. Had my Saucony shoes on since I thought flip flops were a thing of the past for me. She and I wear the same size shoes... she said, I have the same issues, try these - I did. WOW... I was sold. Went immediately to CVS and I bought 2 pairs. My black ones are my go to shoe for everything. I am still wearing these 3.5 years later and they are in great shape. Unfortunately my schnauzer seems to like the material these are made from so a few other colors have gone by the wayside over the years. I just ordered a pair of the splash ones with the heel since I find myself wearing these even when dressier shoes are called for. I think maybe the ones with the wedge heels might be a bit dressier. They are the best.

WICKED COMFORTABLE

I never liked flip flops because the thong between my toes was always uncomfortable and made my feet sore after wearing them... Not the case with Okabashi!! They are not stiff at all and the thong is rubbery, feels great between the toes. I bought my first pair of these about 5 years ago in the grocery store and am still wearing them just about daily all summer. They really are amazing, very durable and SUPER comfortable! Great support, easy to clean AND fashionable at a great price! I also LOVE the fact that they are made in the USA :) 5 STARS all the WAY!!

I have been wearing the Oki's I have for about five years. All summer long, they are about all of the footwear I use. The tread is completely gone, but the shoes are still comfortable. Glad that they recycle.

These are 'go to' comfort shoes. I like to go barefoot in the house, but I find that if I put on a pair of classic flip flops, I can actually ease any foot aches and back pains. Give your feet a break, after wearing any other shoe, ease into a pair of these sandals and smile.

The Best Sandal EVER

I bought three pairs of these at Rite Aid about 12 years ago (they only had black and white) and they have been by far, the most comfortable, durable, and practical sandal I have ever bought! (At the time they were only $5! Inflation!) I am a 'shoe-a-holic' that would put Immelda to shame so I have a LOT of sandals to compare to! I still have two of the three pairs I orginally purchased; one pair inadvertently sacrificed to a puppy!

I work at a green house in the summer and wear these sandals every day. I work 10-12 hour days and am still comfortable at the end of the day! They are super easy to keep clean and, now that I found this site -- it was VERY smart to mold the brand name AND size in the bottom of the shoe where it couldn't wear out -- I will never buy another brand again. I just ordered a bunch in fun colors for both me and my son.

THANKS TO THE DESIGNERS on this one. 100% Great!
