I received my shoes quickly and they are in good shape but these shoes were A) too large B) very painful to wear C) very heavy D) caused far too much moisture/sweat. Yuck.

Short and Stuffy

Bought a couple of years ago, loving the idea of a clog. They sized too short and because they don't breath, your toes get "stuffy."

I want to like them...

There's a lot I do like about Okabashis. They are very comfortable, though the red tab with the logo on the heel quickly wore through, exposing a hole underneath that is not so comfortable, and that I think is responsible for holes in my socks. They never get smelly--no reservations at all on that count. But they aren't durable, at least for me (and I only wear them inside). I ordered this style after going through several pairs of Glides, which always tore at the sides. I received them in October 2014. It's only January 2015, and these are already tearing along the top edge. I know there's a 2-year warranty, but I'm not interested in mailing in a pair of shoes every three or four months and then waiting for a replacement. Presumably not everybody has this problem, which is why I gave a rating of 2 rather than 1 star.

Embarrassing even in private

I ordered these shoes on sale thinking this would be the perfect gardening shoes. They were delivered and I tried them on right away. Seemed great. BUT, I'm embarrassed to walk around in these - because of the sound they make. I refuse to walk around hearing little fart sounds with every step. And I'm not one to wear socks with clogs. To the donation pile these go.

great for heel spurs

I was looking online for something that would help my heel spurs and I came across Okabashis.
I can't wear open toed shoes at work so I chose the Copenhagen clog. I thought at the price it won't hurt to try. It took about a week to find a major, major improvement for my heel spurs. This style accommodates a wider foot. I do have a slight problem with the sizes. The first pair I bought was a medium. I take a size 6.5 shoes. That pair is a little big but it was ok for the winter because I wear thick socks. I went back and bought two pairs in the small and they fit great when wearing thin or no socks. For those of you complaining about sweating feet, buy some toe socks.
There are so many colors available in other styles why aren't there more colors available in the Copenhagen clogs? I would really like some summer colors.

Great shoes. Terrific product. Great Job to all employees at OKABASHI. I bought my first pair of sandals at age forty five. To my surprise, I no longer was suffering from heel pain. I will be 67 in a few months and own 38 pair plus the three new pairs of clogs I just bought today. They make your feet feel so good and are so comfortable, once you try them you will be back for more pairs. I only treat my feet to OKABASHI shoes.

A bit too wide for my feet

These were one of my first 3 pairs of Okabashi shoes (all different styles), and I was a bit disappointed by them. While the sizing was true, they are too wide for my average foot and my feet float around in them, even with socks. Both of the other pairs I bought fit perfectly width-wise. Also, as others have mentioned, they do make my feet sweat, even on cool days. After spending a few hours in them running errands, my feet were sweaty and tired. I'm going to keep these for use in the garden, but they are not the all-day city-walking shoes that I hoped they would be.

These clogs are great for my wide feet with high insteps! I also tried the "Gardenia" style, but it did not accommodate my high instep as well.

love the way they look and they seemed comfortable at first, but my feet start sweating in no time. I was really disappointed. I love the cross straps and Sienna.
