I bought this style as my very first pair of Okabashis. I have been considering trying them for a while, and on a trip to Walgreen's recently, I decided to snag a pair. This was the only style they had in my size, and I got them in black. I wear a size 10-11 in women's, and I have a slim foot in thickness and on the narrow side of medium width. I bought the size Large, and it fits great. I often have a problem with sandals that don't have adjustable straps, as they often don't even touch the top of my foot where they should. These are great with only a little looseness at the strap closest to my ankle, and that isn't much at all. These are VERY comfortable, and they don't feel like a non-breathable man-made shoe like many do, perhaps because of the textured insole and design. I love the fact that I can get these wet or wash them, and they dry right away without damaging the materials like what would happen with a leather sandal. They look even better on than on the rack, too!

I bought my first pair of Okabashi sandals in 1984. I loved them so much I purchased a second pair shortly thereafter. I have worn this sandals for all this time. I of course only wear them in the summer but they are the most comfortable sandals I think ever made. I was estatic when I found the company again. After wearing so well for all these years, I just have to get some new ones. I am so pleased to see some bright colors and new styles. Okabashi is the best their is.

I bought these cross-strap sandals in 2000 and they came with a 10 year warranty. I saved the receipt and the warranty info, but never had to use them. The sandals are very comfortable so I wore them often. 11-1/2 years later they are finally beginning to crack along the sole. Okabashi gave me value for my money.

I have had these sandals for many years. They are still very comfortable and my favorite pair of sandals. They are great for any occasion. I have worn them in the garden, in a stream, and they still can be worn out to shop or dinner. These shoes have out-lasted all other shoes. I am hoping that if I ever have to recycle them, that Okabashi will still have this style. Love them!!

The cross strap are my favorite by far! I have 4 pairs of okabashi sandals and I love the style, fit and comfort of these ones the best. I ordered them in brown and its a very rich dark brown. Will definately buy these again!!

I got these sandals about ten years ago from my aunt and thought they were very well made and must have cost her a fortune-thinking I couldnt afford them. So, I researched them online and saw how affordable they were! Anyway, I just recently ordered my second pair...the first ones finally started to break (the strap) after ten years of constant wear. They are so comfortable! Wear them to the beach, pool, gym, locker room etc. They are awesome! Although not the most sexy sandals, so what. I love them enough to sign in and write a review.

These shoes are awesome for the summer. I wore them constantly doing yardwork, going to yoga class. I think I had them for five years and today I found my dog chewing them up...I almost tore her a new a--hole for chewing the shoes I wear the most. I immediately went online and ordered this same pair again.

Although I have to wear orthotics for my arches, I can wear Okabashi shoes for short periods of times with no pain. I have had this criss cross style for years, and it is my favorite for comfort. I bought my first pair many years ago in an Eckerd drugstore. They have small magnets in them and are called MagnePlus Reflexology Okabashis. Do you still make this magnetic shoe? I truly appreciate the quality of your shoes and have referred many others to them.

I have no idea how long ago I bought my Cross-Straps - they had a pretty braid effect on each strap back then. I have been wearing them for much more than 5 years and they are still comfortable. I even wear them in winter, with socks (hey, if the Japanese can do it...) I haven't been able to find Okabashi since then and I had given up looking. Well, my new drugstore had a very limited selection, and I bought a pair of the Splash and suddenly realized that you might have a website! I'm thrilled to find you and hope this will be a long and happy relationship. We'll see how my son likes your Surfs, and I'm replacing my old leather dress sandals with Messina. I'll buy black and wear them year-round too...with stockings and skirts.

I wore these sandals for many years (10?). I bought them thinking they were just cheap "shower shoes" for camping. Boy was I wrong. When they finally started to crack across the bottom I was on the constant lookout for replacements.I even tried searching various descriptions online with no luck. When I finally found one pair in Walgreen's (thankfully my size) I saw the website. Just ordered 3 pair of different styles. Hoping they are equally comfy.
