A more rigid sandal

I have a high instep on my right foot. This sandal is a bit more rigid than some and so the sandal rubbed. No worries. Because of the way it is constructed, I was able to reshape the top of the sandal at the point where it rubbed without affecting the integrity or wearability. Overall a comfy sandal although I prefer styles that are less rigid.

I love my Okabashis and have them in most colors.
They are the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn.
I really wish you would make the Maui model in true red and a medium true blue.

My dad gave me a pair of these about 3 years ago because they didn't fit, I had never tried Oki's before and thought they looked kind of cheap at first. Was I ever wrong! I love these shoes! They are super comfortable and have held up beyond my best expectations (I weigh 285lbs and wear them all the time and they're hardly worn!) They even help my Plantar Fasciitis (inflammation of the achilles tendon)the sole cushions the impact of walking on my tendon so well that the inflammation goes away quickly. I can't say how mush I love these things!!!

This is the best 20 bucks you will ever spend :)

My wife turned me on to Okabashi sandals because my feet are hot and conventional style sandals made of leather would smell in a short period of time and I would not be able to get but a couple of months out of them.
At first the Okabashi seem uncomfortable, but she said keep wearing them and they will break in. After a couple of days, she was right. These are ALL I wear now. They last, you can simply hose them down and they dry very quickly. I use them around the house, on the beach, pretty much everywhere.
No smelly sandals, and best of all they last a very long time. We always have been value shoppers and these are an exceptional value.
Very durable and comfortable.

Better Than Expected

I was hoping just for decent arch support (which I need), but these things have a footbed rivaling that of a well-known and FAR more expensive German brand, and much better than those reptilian shoes made in various other countries. These are supremely comfortable, guaranteed, made in the U.S.A., recyclable, and amazingly inexpensive. If you have feet at the end of your legs, you owe it to yourself to put some Okabashis on those feet.

I learned about Okabashis by looking them up on the web after seeing them in my local cvs last year. I immediately wanted a pair. But I missed the opportunity because cvs only carries them in spring for maybe 5 weeks. I just purchased them today and have been wearing them around all day. They are fantastic! I suffer from chronic foot pain. These sandals (eurosport) really help. Made in the USA. ACA approved. Eco friendly.
