Works for women too

I have wide feet, a high instep, and a high arch. Finding sandals that fit well is difficult. Never having worn Okabashi, I didn't know what to order or what to expect re: fit. The Eurosport sandals fit great, are comfortable, and I pretty much wear them every day since they arrived. The other pair I ordered did not work as well (Milan) because it has a looser fit over the instep and seems wider than the Eurosport.

Our son Elvis bought my husband a pair of these last spring..He absolutly loves them.So much he kept bugging me to buy him a new pair this year. And i did today and read where they have a two year guarantee.Which is great because his last year Eurosports are tearing on the side near the toes. So we will see if they will replace them. Oh and one more thing. He calls them (Scooter slides) because you dont flip & flop these.. You scoot an slide..And the best thing is they are made in the USA

Since high school I'd always had several pairs of Adidas sandals, I'm 100% converted to Okabashi now. I find the thong-style flip flops very uncomfortable, so the Eurosport are perfect for me.

I got these about a year ago for the locker room. They are super comfortable, non-slip, and in a year of keeping them in my gym bag most of the time, I haven't had any problems with funky smells. All other flip flops I've owned I had to periodically soak in detergent, throw in the wash, etc to keep them from stinking up my bag, so after owning these anti-bacterial has become a must for me.

A couple of observations: they are deceptively heavy, the rubber feels pretty dense. Also, after a few weeks in my gym bag the instep became "collapsed", so I can't just step into them, I have to open them up to get my foot in. This is the only reason they get 4 stars instead of 5.

I love your shoes- I have/had Planters faschitis-I wear your Eurosports year round in the house- the minute I get out of bed-I do believe they have helped in my recovery because of the cushioning and support.
I wish you made some type of shoe with the same cushonining and support for outdoor Minnesota. Will definatly buy again!

Okabashis are the best!

I've been buying Okabashis since I discovered them in the 1990s. The Eurosport is one of my favorite designs. The shape is just right, and the vents on the top give the foot room to "breathe."

If you've never worn Okabashi shoes, well they are incredible. They are so simple (just molded rubber, I guess) and yet so comfortable. They help relieve lower body pains.

I wear Okabashis everywhere, from the shower to the grocery store. Sometimes I wear them with socks and sometimes without. The only place I don't wear my Okabashi shoes is the work office.

I would give the Eurosport a 4.5 if I could. They are not perfect, but close.

NOW I HAVE A CHALLENGE FOR YOU ALL AT OKABASHI:

Make a line of shoes that I can wear to work without attracting the wrong kind of attention. Think outside the shoebox! Perhaps you could make a shoe with a regular Okabashi sole, but with a dressy cloth top that could be detached and thrown in the washer. Thank you.

I have two pairs of Okabashi shoes, both of which, I believe, are discontinued styles. I love them both and continue to wear one of the pairs often, even though they are getting pretty worn-out. That pair is very similar to the Eurosport, so I'm planning on getting a pair of these soon, but, in all likelihood, I'll keep the old pairs and continue to wear them until they simply no longer stay on my feet anymore. MeS™

This shoe is the most comfortable that I have found. I have plantar fiscitis and heel spurs. I feel relief as soon as I step into these. I would recommend these for anyone that has problems with flat feet or heel spurs.
