Very disappointed

Awhile ago I purchased several pairs of these because they looked a lot like an older model of Okabashis that I loved and they were on sale. I was terribly disappointed. The pronounced arch support is a ball in the wrong area of the foot and is off center. It really hurts to walk on it. I cannot wear the shoes at all - they just take up room in my closet. I am considering slicing off some of the arch support "ball" but don't know what that would do the the integrity of the shoes. So many people have a problem with this shoe that Okabashi should either withdraw it from sale or fix it if possible.

I love the style especially with the pointed toe. I got them in White for summer. I wore them for the first time last night with a white sundress and they were terrific. They fit perfectly and were comfortable.

VERY short and narrow

These run short in length and narrow in width. I always wear a S in Okabashi -- I need a M in these.

Love all of my other sandals (8 pair) but don't like these at all. If I'd bought these as my first pair I'd never buy another.

Do NOT buy if you have flat feet!

I have 2 pair of classic flip flops and I LOVE them, so when these went on sale I decided to pick up a pair. I have never seen an arch support like the one in this shoe. Instead of off to the side, the support is right in the middle of the foot bed. It wasn't just uncomfortable, it was PAINFUL to try to wear. My Mother has abnormally high arches, so I passed them on to her and she thinks they are really comfortable. My recommendation would be to skip this style unless you have REALLY high arches, otherwise you may regret the purchase.

Not my favorite pair of Okabashis

Unfortunately, this more attractive style shoe is uncomfortable due to the massaging beads arch support. The bump presses against the middle of my arch and after awhile it felt like I was walking on a nut.

I liked the burnt-sienna color and the material was flexible enough not to squeeze my toes or rub the top of my foot, about which I was concerned due to the pointed toe. However, I may relegate this shoe to short trips because it's too uncomfortable for all day wear.

DON'T LET THIS ONE REVIEW DISSUADE YOU FROM TRYING OKABASHI. See my glowing review for the Cross Strap.

Note: if you wear a size 8, go for the larger size. I normally wear 7 1/2 and my heel was right at the end.

Comfy!

I love the Naples. I have two pair--one brown, one sandstone. I wear them all the time. The brown ones I wear to work (and no one seems to notice that they're not leather), the lighter ones are my "around the house" shoe. I like the massage "bumps", and the support. My first pair of Okabashis were cross straps, which I liked okay. But I really prefer the support of the Naples. This is a really good shoe! Keep up the good work!

Naples is comfortable but tricky

I love Okabashi shoes and wear them year round. As soon as I get home from work, or anywhere else, the shoes come off and I put on my Okabashis. They are soo comfortable. However, this pair has the pointy toe, which tends to catch on things and trip you. I will be buying more, but not this style.
