Comfort that doesn't last

I have only worn these 3 times for about 4-5 hours each time. They are more confortable than traditional flip-flops because they provide some arch support.

However, the comfort did not last because the strap that goes between the toes and anchors into the sole broke.

I can't get a refund because I bought them at a national drugstore chain. So now I am printing out a form and paying for postage to get a replacement.

This flip-flop did not live up to the reputation for quality. I hope the replacement pair will be better.

I bought my first pair a couple of years ago. I love that reflexology is a part of the design of the footbed. I love that they are slip resistant and anti-microbial! These shoes are extremely comfortable. I just bought my second pair yesterday, after stumbling on them in the grocery store. Now that I have the website, I'll be ordering more! By the way, I just had foot surgery and will be wearing these through my recovery period, with my doctor's blessing!

Hurt my feet

I hate to go against the grain here but these were just not comfortable for me. There are two sets of raised "nubs." They are very harsh on my skin and left my feet feeling raw in those spots after wearing them around the house for a little while. The first set of nubs is placed right at the arch of my foot and if it were smooth instead of textured it might be OK. The second set is in front of the arch in the middle of the sandal and I can't really see the purpose for it being there. It hits my foot in a spot that does not need support so it's even harsher on my skin and feels very awkward.

I like the concept of Okabashi sandals because they are environmentally responsible but for me, they just aren't comfortable enough to wear even for a little bit.

I bought my 1st pair of Okabashi last spring. I had always wanted to wear flip-flops but could not handle the thing between my toes! Until I came across this pair at my local CVS...I tried them on and couldn't believe how good they felt!!! And, they were made in the USA!!! I took them home and figured I would not wear them long - but I wore them everyday!!! I even got the chance to go to the Grand Cayman Island last year and walked all over the Island in my Flip-Flops!!!
I just recently found this website and found out that the name of my Grand Flip-Flops were "Ocean". Now 2 of my favorite things are named "Ocean"!!!
I'll be buying more soon - but I would love to win a pair!!!

I love the look of thong shoes but can't stand that thing between my toes - until I found these while on vacation in Florida 6-7 years ago! I would wear them year round because they are so comfortable. Well, they finally broke after 6-7 years & I nearly cried! I even tried to get my engineer husband to fix them....to no avail....time for new ones! They are so comfy & supportive for your feet!

I have suffered for years, with my feet. I have Fibromyalgia, & have also other problems such as I had broken my left foot severely several years ago, & couldn't ever find any shoes that I could wear without intense pain. Finally, my husband got me my first pair of Okabashi,about 3 years ago. These flip flops, & I have never been the same!! I have about 7 pair now, different designs...they have helped me be able to get back out there & enjoy life! I wasn't even able to do the job I had @ the time because I stood a lot, but I could after those shoes! They are extremely comfortable! Thank you Okabashi!!!

I own many pair in all different colors. This style is my favorite. I am an Office Manager for a Podiatrist and we recommend Okabashi to all of our patients. I can not wear a standard sandal due to I need an arch, and this is great. I can wear it all day, get them wet and the beach etc and the support is great. I have
recommended this to all my friends. What I love beside the great support is that it is stylish and has so many colors to choose from.They look and FEEL great with anything I wear.

I own several styles of Okabashi shoes, and got these because they looked a little more delicate, dressy. My only complaint is that the arch is a little high (and I have a high arch!) so that after walking around for a while the bottom of my arch really hurts.
