Perfect for work and church!

I love these sandals. I have plantar fascitis and a bunion, so finding shoes that work with my feet has been a real challenge. I discovered Okabashi about a year ago and am thrilled to be able to run again. As long as I wear Okabashis at least three times a week I can walk normally when I wake up in the morning and even go for jogs!

These are perfect for my business casual work environment. They go nicely with slacks or skirts and are still comfortable at the end of the day. I do recommend buying a size up if you have a wide foot like I do.

I wish you made these in navy blue and white, so I could have all my neutral colors covered!

Walk forever in these shoes.

I took these shoes with me on a recent trip to Mexico that included a lot of walking. I have started having problems with a bunion on one foot that sometimes hurts after a lot of walking. But when I wore these shoes my foot NEVER hurt and sometimes I was on my feet for 8 hours. Also wore them out to dinner with dressy clothes and they looked just fine.

MY to go sandal for work

I waas recently diagnosed with plantars fascitis & metatarsal, due to wearing waay too high heels & absolutly no support flat sandals/flip flops, I just got these last week, I could not wait, to bring them to work, even though we are in mid-frigid January weather, but I wanted to show my other lady co-workers, who all, have foot problems, let me tell you, I don't have that pain in the ball of my foot, when I wear these, they are comfortable, & I can wear them to work, they don't go with all my slacks, but some & a few skirts i have, any little help, I can get, I will try, at first, I thought these were ugly, but they looked nice with my dress khakis/denim skirt & other brown slacks I wear to work, I will definatly be ordering the blck ones. I gave it a 4 stars, only because I have very narrow feet & the top seemed a little roomy, but if i ordered a smaller size, my feel will probably stick out, But they are absolutley comfortable!

Toe Problem

I have 3 pairs of Okabashi shoes and while I love them, these are probably my least favorite. The openings on the outside of the foot don't cover my little toe and they stick out the side of the shoe, which bugs me. Other than that, they are great.

My first pair was the Sienna which I ordered in a larger size than my shoe size, which fit perfectly. Then I ordered these in the size up also but they were just a little wide on me. I didn't want to take a chance to return them for the smaller size so I kept these. That is the ONLY reason I gave this review 4 stars vs 5. Otherwise, I really do love them. As with the Sienna, I sure would like to see them in cool summer colors like spring green, aqua, pink, ecru, yellow, etc. Then I would buy both styles in various colors and would order these in my normal size rather then the size up to see if that would work better. Thank you for great comfortable shoes at affordable prices.

So I have 7 different styles of Okabashi's (and 8 pairs)...I have the Paris, Sienna, Splash, Pacific, Ocean (2 pairs) and the Waves. Oh, and just ordered the Messina's. I probably wear these in black the most (as black goes with the most) and wear them several times a week to work. They are very comfortable and the heal gives them a slightly "dressed up" look. Very cool design too!

These sandals are great! From a distance they definately look like leather. They are very comfortable. I saw other reviews saying order a size up....well, Im a size 7 1/2 and ordered the medium and they fit perfectly. If you're a size 8, you'd probably want the next size up.

These shoes are very cute, but they are so narrow. I could barely even squeeze my foot into the shoe, and once I did, they were tight. I don't know if these stretch out any or not, but if you have feet that are even a little wide, this will probably not work for you. Everyone says order one size up, but when you wear a size 10, you are stuck.

Stylish and comfortable

I recommend ordering one size up; IMO these shoes run small.

With that said, I absolutely love the Paris! I couldn't believe how comfortable they are - I wore them around the house for a couple days waiting for *something* to be problematic, but I haven't had a moment's trouble, even with my high arches. Started wearing them all day to work and I couldn't be happier.

These shoes are CUTE. After years of wearing chunky-clunky clog-type shoes for comfort, I'm completely tickled to discover a shoe that is every bit as attractive as it is comfortable.

Five stars for the Paris - I'm back to order more!

I took someone’s advice on this web site stating that this shoe fit small. I order the size larger and this works wonderful, the only down side is sometimes my baby toes gets caught in the side hole.
