I'm a shoe maven, with well over 100 pair, but I'm very particular about fit, comfort, and fashion. I just discovered Okabashi shoes summer and bought ten pairs, of assorted designs. I LOVE them for the comfort, style, and durability. I wanted something with a slightly higher heel, and Splash is perfect! I got 3 pairs, black, pink, and white and would have bought more colors but they were out of stock in my size. VERY comfortable and super-cute! These will be my summer mainstays and are going with me on vacation. They are comfortable enough for walking and dressy enough for a night out. I am proud that they are made here in the USA, in fact, just a few miles from my home! My husband asked me, "What does 'Okabashi' mean?" I told him, "Happy toes!"

I previously bought 2 pairs of Splash (black and brown), and totally fell in love with them! These are so versatile, and can go from daytime to evening casual. I love the wedge and arch support on these, and the fact that they are sturdy (slip proof) is an added bonus. I also love the clean lines of this sandal. Just a note: they are heavier in weight than they appear, due to the wedge heel, but not really a problem. I re ordered another 2 pairs (would have loved to get the dark blue, but they are never available in my size!). Bottom line: you gotta try these...you'll love 'em! Remember to order a size up, as they do run small.

I have always owned a pair of Okabashi shoes. They are very, very comfortable! I was once told in a upscale shoe store, that when you buy a pair of sandals, you should ALWAYS go a 1/2- 1 size up, because you do not want the back of your heel to be at the end of the sandal, you want to have a little room at the back! It truly does make a difference!
