Please make XXL size

I've been in love with my Okabashis for the past few years (the splash is my favorite). My husband has been having issues with his plantar fasciitis too, and I think this would be the best one for him to try since it's gotten great reviews for the past 3 decades. I'm sure he'd fall in love with his Okabashis as much as I have if he could only just try them. So, please make the XXL size Weave!!!

Best Kept Secret for Foot Comfort
May 1, 2014

Mom originally picked these sandals at the store for herself in the early 2000s to garden with outside, until her health kept her inside more often. One day I needed something to quickly wear outside, and slipped into mom sandals -- the rest was history.

For me shoes are about comfort, function and longevity (once broken in shoes need to last no less than 5 years, which is my measure of quality of materials, too). These sandals passed all the qualifications -- over 8 years of everyday use, too.

The original weave version has to be the best kept secret for foot comfort, as the old analogy of "don't judge a book by it's cover" is patently true with these sandals. It's difficult to get past the price tag and rubber feel as "better". Once worn though, my feet felt 10x better than wearing those $$$ "best" shoes.

Glad Okabashi brought back the original version. My feet can be happy again. Yay!

Best sandles ever owned. After 9 countries, 15 states and untold miles Its time to replace mine. My current pair are over 10 years old and have been my favorite, most comfortable sandles. Hope they never stop production.

A Classic!

LOVE the Weave. I don't know how long ago you started to offer them but I've owned a pair since the beginning. The heel cup feature is far superior to the current styles without a heel cup. PLEASE keep this style as a permanent offering. And consider adding more colors. It's billed as a man's shoe but many women who need wider styles wear them too.

The Very Best

I've had my slippers for 11 years and they are still going strong! They are always the right temperature I need no matter what the weather is and I can wear them anywhere. I recently wore them to paint and the paint washed off without any trouble. My feet are wide with a high instep and I had difficulty finding a style in the woman's section that were comfortable, so I came back to these and am very happy I did. Great for gardening or the beach, mahalo for keeping this style!

I was suffering from plantar fascitiis and my foot doctor sold me a pair of sandals that set me back $450... all for nothing. A friend told me about Okabashi sandals and I bought a pair. Within a couple weeks, my feet were as good as new!

I just got my latest pair of Okabashi's the Weave. I was not sure at first but once I got them.and put them on it was love! The weave is a little lighter than some of the other sandles but still has the ergonomic foot bed we all crave! It also has a longer weave or upper material and so it stays on my foot better than some other styles. I like the fact I can wear these with jeans or cargoes or shorts or khakis. Very versatile looking shoes and the microplast really looks like leather! Very happy with purchase! If you are looking for a well made sandal you can dress up this is it! Okabashi service is always spot on! I am going to bbe a.long time customer!!

I wrote to you last year begging on my knees that you would bring back the Weave. I knew you had to still have the mold for it and could reintroduce them, and you DID!! I've had to order different styles because you didn't have the Weave and they are ok but NOT like the infamous Weave! I was shocked when I opened your web page to see them sitting there smiling at me! Like others I've worn my one pair of Weaves left since the 90s, they look pretty used especially after the dog chewed some of the side away, but I still wear them!(at home.) I have heel problems and these were the only ones that helped relieve pain. The heel area of the Weave is made deeper than others, like 1/2". I had a pair at the homes of family members so I could change shoes. I am buying 4 pr. today. I will not be without them! Bravo!

Love these

These were my first Okabashi. I was intrigued by the Reflexology claims, but I loved them for the comfort and convenience. I don't know about today's weave style, but the ones I bought years ago had pockets that acted like suction cups. They were fantastic as a non-slip way to step in the shower.

I found them!

When I saw the photo of the Weave style, I knew it well. More than 20 years ago, my mother bought a pair exactly like this in a drugstore. I laid claim to them whenever I visited her:) They fit so well, and are great for working in the yard, giving great support, yet being totally washable. I eventually moved back to Florida, and Mother needed my care. We combined households, so the shoes came to my house. I keep them by the back door so I never go out without shoes.

I Have always wondered where I could buy more like them, but there is no name on them. They have to be the Weave--everything is identical. 20 years of hard wear and they are still in great shape. My feet have changed, but the shoes still fit me well.

If all your shoes are as good as these 20 year old shoes, then I will be hooked on Okabashi. For painful feet due to neuropathy, this is just what the doctor ordered.
