I have worn this old cross strap and now the new one and they are the most comfortable sandal I own. I have about four other styles that you make but love the feel of these. Please , please, make them in a variety of colors.

I like the style of this shoe, but can't wear anything but the Paris, Sienna, and my Beloved Cleos. Many of the reviews of your shoes mention height of heel and these are too short. Most sandals also have short or flat heels. I think you may be getting a message loud and clear. Would love to get shoes replaced when they break before 2 years warranty, but shipping is more than the cost of the shoe.

I started wearing Okabashi sandals over 10 years ago for the beach. There're no hidden areas in them to bring home the sand. I now also wear them year round as bedroom slippers. I'g gotten a bone spur from wearing flat scuffs. With exercises & Okabashis, I no longer have any foot pain.

I have been wearing the cross-strap sandals for over 10 years. At first, I didn't think they would be comfortable (being sort of plastic material). They are they most comfortable sandal I have worn in years. My legs and feet do not get tired or hurt. I even wear them in COLD weather.

I started wearing your cross straps 9 years ago when I found them at the drug store. I wore them all the time until they wore out several years later. I ordered these and they were a little smaller in size. I love the arch support and flat heel. I have back problems and these are perfect. It reduces back and leg stress. MAKE MORE STYLES WITH THIS FOOTBED!!

I have been wearing your Cross Straps for over 5 years. They are so comfortable I even did a three mile walk in them. I find them more comfortable than tennis shoes. When it was time to buy new ones I bought four pair so I would always have a spare. I wear them all the time during the summer months.

Here's the thing--I first discovered Okabashi in of all places a supermarket, they didn't have any of the women's style in my size so I bought the men's style. Which is ok because my feet tend to swell. I had been wearing them for years until I decided it was time for a new pair. I love that I now wear the women's style. Thank goodness for the internet or I wouldn't have found them. I would wear them all the time if I could.

i hace worn the cross strap for years - all seasons as i travel all the time -- when you changed to the new style i purchased a pair and they were wider and did not fit my feet as well -- luckily i was able to purchase 4 pairs of the old style on your clearance sale and tried to purchase more but they were unavailable to my dismay -- i usually go thru a pair a year and wish you would bring back the old style.

I've been wearing the Cross Strap since I first discovered them at a Rite-Aid many years ago. I now order from your web site and must always have a back-up pair on hand. Wish, though, that you would bring back the colors, especially the red. Thanks, Okabashi, for a beautiful shoe.

I wore the cross strap for many years and recently got a pair of the new cross strap. They are o.k., but I prefer the old style. Also, these are no longer offered in dark blue, which would be my first color choice. I would like to see the cross strap offered in a greater variety of colors.

I have hammer toes and wear orthodics. I have trouble finding shoes that the orthodics fit into and cannot wear any of those cute sandals on the market. The Okabashi cross strap is the only shoe I can wear without the orthodics and my feet do not hurt. The first pair I bought was at Walgreens for shower shoes for a camping trip. I wear them all the time now in the house and yard. I take them on vacations for slippers in the hotel, have worn them on the beach, etc. They are great!!

These are the most comfortable shoes I own. I've lost count of how many pairs I have now. I keep them in several rooms, my car, my motorhome. I even wear them in the winter before it gets too cold. I hate to go back to those uncomfortable winter shoes! Ugh!

I have been wearing this criss-cross style Okabashi sandal for as many years as they have been making them - I keep a pair on every floor in my house. I have problems with my feet, bunions and corns and they are literally the only shoes that do not make my feet or toes hurt. My only criticism is that I wish they looked at little less plastic and more leather-like. I haven't purchased a new pair yet so I hope they haven't changed the fit.

I must admit, I bought my first pair of Okabashis over 10 yrs ago and never knew how much I would fall in love with these shoes. I own many colors and styles, always keeping a pair in the car and giving these sandals to friends and family as gifts. These are by far the most comfortable and inexpensve shoes I have experienced and use them daily in all seasons too! Thanks Okabashi!!

I have spent hundred's of dollars to find comfortable shoes and I always end up coming back to tha Okabashi sandles. They are so comfortable and I can wear them on the beach.in the sand or when I go for a walk. The soft cushions make me feel like I am walking on air. LOVE Them

I have worn Okabashi sandals for many years and this style is excellent for my feet. I had other styles which are no longer available, and were the best. One in particular was a slingback sandal. Wish that was available again.

Very comfortable. Bought pair like them in Canada about 6 years ago. Only problem that I have is that my little tow rubs along the side hole and at times gets irritated. but I still wear them day in and out.

I have the sandstone and the brown of this style and I love them. They are very comfortable & stylish at the same time. I tend to wear my flip flops more but on days I need a change, I choose the cross strap. They are great shoes!

Ditto KC from Annapolis -- think of wearing these inside as slippers, with socks in the winter. No one has talked about this yet, but these shoes are great if you have heel spurs, or, I'm guessing, other foot problems. Okabashis have put my heel spur into total remission for about 6 years now. They are also cool and comfortable in the summer. This style seems to me to be the most comfortable -- so glad to hear Okabashi is thinking about the environment.

I have 3 pairs of akabashis and this is my favorite. My right foot tends to turn a little and it keeps me from wearing sandals. But I can wear these. The support my foot in such a manner that my foot stays straight.

I have several pairs of these, I live in them in summer. I have a big garden fronted by a stream, and when I get hot or dirty I can go right from one into the other. People actually compliment me on the sandas, can't believe when I say they are rubber and cost $15. Several friends now wear them too. I bought several other styles, but these are my favorites!

These shoes are so comfortable! I wear them day and night in the summer and in the house in winter with socks. They are great for going on when the lawn is wet and easy to wash if needed. They are very comfy, well made, reasonably priced AND Made in the USA! What more could you want?

Had a hard time finding the cross strap which used to be carried at Walgreen's, so happy I found your website. I wear the Cross Strap day and night, every place I go, with socks and without (mostly with). They're comfortable and easy to slip on or off. My only complaint is that I have a hard time finding them, except online at okabashi.com, which then means I have to pay S/H. Other than hard to find, wear nothing else --- in a shoe.

I bought these last summer for our vacation. I wore them so much I got a strap tan on my feet. They are comfortable and fit well (I have large, wide feet), and look great with shorts, jeans or capris. We spent a lot of time on the beach, but also walked around in town a lot, and I wore these every day. You can dress them up to go out to a classy restaurant, or splash around in the lake with them. These are some of my favorites. AND they're made in the USA. Perfect all around.
