This sandals are so comfortable and easy to keep clean. I love to have a pair to slip on quickly and go shopping or work around the yard without feeling pain or aches in the ball of my foot. They are cool in the summer and don't make my feet sweat. They are awesome!

I have to wear shoes with really good arch support, and all of the Okabashi shoes I've tried are great. However, none of the styles come in wide. The thong styles are OK in the summer, but I have to resort to another brand in the winter because the slides are too narrow.

It is hard to find a sandal for my 84 year old mother. She doesn't like the flip-flop style or anything to go between her toes. She also has a large bunion on one foot which makes it hard to find shoes that fit. Well, this shoe was a total winner. She can wear it without any discomfort and loves it. She has the brown & red style and finds it goes with many of her outfits. Thanks.

Purchased the Wave on clearance, and it just didn't measure up to the other styles. The biggest problem for me was the slapping of the sandal. Liked the look, but they just aren't comfortable.

I bought 2 pair of the discontinued navy ones.
Pros: I like the color, fit, and easy care.
Cons: The color I like is no longer available, and tops on both pair came loose from the sole. I superglued them back in, but they were never the same.
I don't know if the construction of this generation of the Wave has improved, but I'm not really interested in red/brown or aqua/brown.

I have the wave sandal in both the red and the blue and love them! Only problem is I wish you would make them in more colors. Can't believe how they feel on as they are soft and comfortable. Any similar prduct I have tried has given me blisters as they are hard and cut my skin. You did it and made a product which is a perfect fit for where I live. Beaches and pools are where I spend mist of my time and these shoes work great and look great too.

I have other models I love so I had high hopes for the blue Wave....but as others have mentioned it was to wide for my foot and I kept sliding out the front also. I'm a 6 1/2 m and I gave them to my daughter who has a wider foot and she loves them.

I love the look and colors of these sandals, but they would not stay on my feet. I was frustrated with them flying off my feet, but my teenagers love them so I gave the shoes to them.

I loved my other Okabashi, so I tried these. I didn't like them as well. They fit my feet, but not for a long walking trip. They don't stay on my feet well, and I don't like the slap-slap as I walk. I use them at the pool.

My friend's 70 year old Mom recommended this shoe to me (she wears them all the time!). I have plantar fascitis and haven't been able to wear sandals because of this. The Wave's heel support has given me the freedom to wear flip-flops again! Plus I love the colors and price. THANKS!

I have Fibromyalgia and my feet hurt all the time. Before getting the Wave sandals, I used to take several pairs of shoes with me when I went out - I would change shoes when my feet started to hurt. It would help for a bit, but the pain always came back. Now, I put on my Waves and go... no other shoes needed! They fit perfect and massage my feet all day long (I was so impressed that I bought another pair right away)! Also, I live at the beach and these are the best beach sandals I have ever had. You don't have to worry about getting them wet and sandy... after a long day at the beach, I just rinse them off, dry them and they are ready to go! Plus, they are fantastic poolside... because of my Fibro, I am not very sure footed, but I never slip when I have my Waves on. I don't know what more you could ask from a shoe! Simply put, I love them!

I have several different styles and colors of Okabashi's I love them all immensly ... they fit my feet, they massage my feet and the are so comfortable. My son loves his and my friends love theirs that I bought them. I wore my cross straps to a special outing and nobody could tell that they weren't expensive. I have this on my facebook but will put it up again. Stay made in the USA please.....

I own several pairs of Okabashi sandals and have recommended them to everyone. I love the comfort, the simplicity, and the colors. I have high arches so the mid heel works really well for me... it is nice to see that an American company can produce an affordable, quality product. Keep up the GREAT work! and they are recyclable.... bonus!

I like to wear this model to work..It's comfortable all day. I love the fact that these shoes are made in the USA which is a rarity these days, and that they are made from recycled products. Why are they so inexpensive? Unheard of !

I own at least 8 Okabashi styles. This is my favorite. I should say, the original version is my favorite. No cut out on the side, in solid colors. I had them in White and black, 2 pairs of each and lost them in Hurricane Katrina. They are one of the first things I tried to replace and could not and cannot find them anywhere! Okabashi, wake up! You discontinued the best shoe you made. Please bring them back.

I, too suffered plantar fascitis, and also tarsal tunnel. I surgery 4 times on my left foot and could only wear athletic shoes for years. I bought my 1st pair at CVS and was addicted. Now I order directly. Customer Service is outstanding!

These shoes are absolutely terrific for summer comfort and their style is perfect for casual or dressier clothes. Soft band across the top makes them ideal for a wider foot.

Great summer shoes in vivid colors, can be worn as slippers too. Great arch for plantar! I wore the previous version of this so much, the side of the plastic upper separated from the sole, but this latest model has no such problem. More colors please!

The look of the Wave was adorable, but the fit was not. I'm a true 61/2 M, all my shoes and boots are that size...unfortunately could not keep these on my feet, way too wide. I also own the
Sienna and the Clog...love them both but would like a 1/2 inch higher heel on the clog. Love the fact that they are recyclable and made in USA

I love these shoes! I just wish they came in more colors. I wear them all around all Summer. They go great with almost any outfit too. Very comfortable and make my feet look pretty!

Some reviewers mention sliding in the wave style - perhaps it's too roomy for their foot. I have wide feet (and bunions), so the extra space works well for me. Still wearing my Green/Choclate from about 3-4 years ago - they are my "house slippers."

I have Plantar Faciitis and my son had purchased your flip flops and said I should try them. He also said they are made in the USA unlike Crocs which I also own. I now have 8 pairs of Okabashi shoes in every style and my plantar faciitis is all but gone. When I feel a twinge in my heel I just slip on my Okabashi's and I'm as good as new! Thanks you have changed my life! Jan M from Punta Gorda, FL

had to buythe wave in ocean blue but like others found it slipped off my foot and became too heavy to wear for walking or in the sand! Also could yoy make a yrue size 5 perhaps? Thiught this shoe would be therapeutic for a healing broken ankle but found my ankle working too hard to keep ot on my foot

Love the styling but the top piece pulled apart when I was working with them on in the garden. Loved the all black shoe that was transfered to the Oka B line. It was my favorite. The new colors don't do anything for me.

Like others who have reviewed, I found the shoe to not fit as well as I would have liked. (sometimes my foot would slide forward and it does flop against my heel so that it can begin to hurt) I still own them because they are convenient and comfortable in other ways. (I like the foot bed/ sole) I just would like it to fit better over the toe area. Possibly I needed to try a different size??

I bought the wave because it was different from the Okabashi flip flops and I loved the color, but the tops aren't snug enough to hold onto the foot. My feet slide through to the end. Very unhappy. Love the flip flops though and will say that they are the only flip flops I can wear as I have Plantar Fasciitis in both feet. Thanks for that!!!

These are by far my least favorite Okabashi shoes. They do not fit well, they made my feet chaffed and flop very much. However, I do love all the other Okabashi's that I own. They are my favorite brand of shoe!

I was excited to get these shoes because I think they are the best looking out of all of the styles, but unfortunately, they are also the least comfortable on my feet out of all of the styles. These chafed the inside of my feet, flopped loudly when I walked, and tended to slip off of my feet at inopportune moments. I love my other Okabashis, but I had to toss these out.

I have about 7 or 8 pairs of Okabashi sandles...but the Wave is by far my favourite. I have 3 different colours of the wave and I live in them all summer. I wish you would come out with an all black version.
By the way, I've never had any cracking or breaking and I've worn them for 4 or 5 years now.

These shoes are hard to keep on (compared to other Okabashi shoes), so I give it a 3 for fit. I get so many compliments on the shoes when I wear them, so they get 5 for appearance. I average to a 4.

I purchased two pairs of this style because it looked simaliar to the first pair of Okabashi sandels that I ever bought. But was very disapointed, they were not molded like a straight band across the foot like my old pair [which I still own] wish I new the style name. The wave has the push through button style that pulls out and breaks, terrible design! I wish you could bring back the other design I need a new pair, they are so comfortable and really help my heel spurs.

So comfortable! I was having heel pain and my daughter-in-law recommended the Wave.Since she has fibromyalgia, I knew they must be good, so I ordered 3 different pairs for myself. I recommend them.

This is a very cute shoe and has nice style. I bought it because it was made in USA and because I do not like to have anything between my toes, like a thong shoe does.
I normally do not wear open backed shoes because I have trouble with walking out of my shoes, and these are no exception.

A couple of years ago, I went to the spa at Caesar's Palace in Vegas. These are the sandals they gave me to enjoy during my time there. They were sooo comfortable, I had to write down the name to see if I could purchase them online. Of course, I came across the Okabashi site and now own about 10 pair of different shoes. All high quality, all at a great price, and all blissfully comfortable!

I am a huge fan of Okabashi footwear, and own quite a few pairs of the flip flop style. I like the look of the Wave, but found that my high instep made it impossible for me to wear this style. My misfortune is my friend's good luck - I passed them on to her and she loves them!

I love the shoe, but it really could use a taller heel like the Sienna for support. These are more stylish and would be an all round favorite if the support was better.

I love the wave . I bought the first pair to wear around the house and pool, This sendal soon became my favorite pair to be worn as a complement on many casual oufits. The wave feels better than walking around barefoot for comfort and easy to keep clean. I highly recommend it to those who value comfort and style. JayW

I like Okabashi sandals and have tried several different styles. "Wave" is comfortable and looks nice, but has the same problem as all the other styles - the material splits and the sandals only last a few months. Even though they are inexpensive, having to replace them every few months adds up.

We used 8 pairs of these sandals at my daughter's 12th birthday party as a craft - we colored them with Sharpie markers. All of the girls had so much fun and went home with shoes that they adore! It was so fun to watch the girls sit around our kitchen table, creating their own designs and showing them off to their friends. Okabashi, I have photos if you want them!
