We know, we know—everyone loves kicking off their shoes in the summer! And we agree there’s nothing better than running across the grass on a hot summer day. But no matter where you go this summer, remember to bring your Okabashi flip flops or sandal to keep your and your family’s feet safe and healthy.
At the pool. Remember your non-skid Okabashi flip-flops for the hot pool deck and the locker room or showers. Wet surfaces are hazardous and slippery for bare feet, and you want to protect the soles of your feet from bacteria.
In the car. We know there are those of you out there who like to drive barefoot, but it is not recommended by doctors, law enforcement, or your insurance company! We recommend comfortable, anatomically correct Okabashi sandals to protect your feet from hot pedals or slipping—you’ll still get that “barefoot” feeling while driving safely.
At the beach. Don’t leave the car or the bus without sandals or flips flops for the whole family. No matter how much kids love to go barefoot, beach sand can become too hot to walk on—not to mention that sand can hide broken glass or other dangers.
On the trail. Whether you’re on a short nature walk or a longer hike, bring your Okabashi’s to support your feet and keep your body properly aligned. Okabashi sandals prevent heels and toes from slipping off the shoe bed, and Reiki-inspired, therapeutically designed insoles will relax and rejuvenate your feet.
