I love this sandal! As soon as I return home, I rush to change into these sandals. I wear them constantly around the house and every so often, I wear them in public. However, the big problem is I wear size 11 shoe. I am a woman. You stop at size 10.5 for women - which is way too small for me. Please consider making larger sizes for women. You have some pretty styles I would love to try, but can't because you don't make them in my size. There are several women in the world who have feet larger than 10.5! We like our feet to look nice too. We should not have to wear men's shoes. I really don't understand why you don't have more choices for women. Note also, the men's LL is too small, the XL is too big, but I kept the XL, that's what I currently have on. I really hope you make a larger women's size selection.

Comments about Torino:

While I'm not happy with the choice of colors the product itself is 5 star. I wish they would bring back that dark tan in the TORINO.

If the shoe fits

I purchased my pair of Torinos on a trip to upper Michigan at one of the local Wallgreens stores because I need slippers to wear in our hotel room, I was thinking " they'll do" not ever thinking that these shoes would even make the trip back home afterwards; oh my gosh was I wrong! I have fallen in love with these Torinos!

I purchased the largest size they had for me which was a size XL, I could have used an XXL but I still have no regrets these are wonderful shoes that are comfortable, tough and washable, you folks have a customer for life!

Kudos for Okabashi

My Wife and I have been wearing Okabashi Sandals for years. sorry to learn the Weave Style is being discontinued! I just purchased 2 pairs of the Torino style because the weave is going away. I hope they measure up to the weave. My Wife had problems for years with callouses that needed to be self removed with a razor before we discovered Okabashi Sandals. The callouses disappeared after a few months. She isn't crazy about the available styles for women so she is forces to wear the black men's style. but she wears them constantly and we have worn out several pairs through the years. complaints about the acorns and gravel getting caught in the bottom holes in the soles made me smile. The science of these soles with the holes and indentations are what put Okabashi Sandals above the flat uncomfortable versions other companies offer. The acorns and stones are easily removed with a small blunt screwdriver or letter opener, it is a chance to examine the condition of the soles.

I've found the right size of Okabashi shoe. It took a few tries. I recently purchased a pair of the model Torino. Probably since it is the right size, it is one of my favorite shoes to wear. It is not the best looking, but I can't complain. I hope to get another style pair in the right size.

I love Okabashi shoes for the comfort and simplicity.

Great service that I felt compelled to write a review

I want to write this review to thank Tonya Franklin. I used to have the simple slide style Okabashis and they lasted forever. However, the perforations on the basket-weave style, while good for ventilation, is also a weak point where the sandal would tear. I e-mailed my trouble to Okabashi, and it was taken care of [e-mail to new sandals arriving in the mail] in a matter of days - Tonya was even willing to swap me with the old style I wanted which was not available at the store! That's great service that listens to their clients.

Had to find online!

By

I have worn out two pairs of Okabashi sandles this Summer! Our local chain drug store didn't get their usual supply this year, and I had to go online to find some!
The only complaint, is the RV park we are staying in has gravel driveways, and small rocks get wedged in the soles. Other than that, it has been the only shoe I have worn for over a year. Great when it is raining and I have to take the dogs out, rubber doesn't stay wet! Thanks for the wonderful shoes!
