I order ocean sandals it took a whole week to get them but when I got them have to disappointed because it's too small for my feet I usually wear size 7 to 7.5 so I order medium(by the chart size) but your medium is a little too small for size 7 about an inch and its way too tight on toes so I have to return and exchange to large but the disappointment is I have to pay for shipping to return I already paid $6.95 when ordered and for returning I had to pay $8.90 so the totals for shipping both way are already cost me $15.00 that is almost the cost of one pair if I cancel the whole order I still lost $15 this is not fair at all because your size is smaller than usually size!! I am not happy with the way your return policy are so this is my first time order and it's gonna be my last time too!! and I just found the same OKABASHI SANDALS at Walgreen same style the cost is only $12.99 it cheaper and no shipping cost both ways!!! so you better improve your return policy really!!!!

I have an old pair of the brown & gold large "Ocean" sandals that were/are amazing! I got them at a Walgreen's and it was instant comfy love! I've worn them year-round for so long that the tread is finally smoothing over. One of the straps tore off at sole-level, and I just super-glued it back. It held forever! So I decided to break down & buy a new pair: same size, same model & color from Okabashi, since they no longer sold these at my local store. Guess what? The straps are too short! I can barely squeeze my feet in, so they dig into the tops of my feet, and I can't even get my feet all the way in the shoe! My heels hang off the back, especially on the right shoe. They LOOK exactly like the old ones I still have, but the straps are simply too short. I thought perhaps they would stretch if I suffered through wearing them as-is for a few days, but no dice. I'm so disappointed. Buy one size up!

What happened to the sizing????

I have been wearing these flip flops for years and never had a problem with the size ML.
Just ordered and received 3 new pair (different styles) and all three are smaller than the ML I had been wearing. I will have to send these back.

Delighted With Products

Ordered 3 different pairs to try. I'm a first time buyer of these shoes. Order arrived in just a few days by USPS.

All 3 pairs fit well in size M/L. My shoe size is 8 or 8 1/2 wide (small bunions). The Ocean is my favorite. Great arch support and the perfect length for my foot to fit in the deep heel bed. Feel custom made for my feet!

The Ocean is not clunky and provides much more support than a regular flip flop. I grew up wearing the old wooden Dr. Scholls, I loved them even though they were definitely kind of clunky but hope the Ocean becomes my new favorite shoe.

I live on a small horse farm and will use these this summer when mowing, cleaning stalls, working with the horses, loading hay, etc. It gets real hot here in Texas and I just can't wear the traditional heavy shoes/boots in the summer.

Thanks OKABASHI!!! (Working on my next order right now.)

Amazing Sandals

By

This is my second pair of the Ocean sandals. I have arthritis in both feet and these are the only sandals that are comfortable for me. My first pair I purchased at WalGreens 2 years ago and they finally broke. I could not find another pair locally so ordered these on line. As others have said the sizing is off. I wear the ML which is equivalent to a 7.5-8.5 NOT 8-9. I actually wear a size 8.5 shoe and the ML fits perfectly.

Love, love, love this shoe! Thanks Okabashi!!

size run small

Your shoe sizes runs small and narrow. I wear a size 7, so I ordered the M (6.5-7.5) my heal hang over the shoe by 1/2 inch. I think you should change the size to avoid disappointment. Over all the shoe is comfortable.

The BEST SANDALS I ever had.

By

Last year, I was looking for any sandals for summer and was at WalMart at that time. I saw this OCEAN sandals that was sooooo COMFORTABLE; good looking and most of all, MADE in USA. I can't believed an AFFORDABLE footwear made here in our country is being sold in WalMart.

I went back the following week and bought another one (Oh, and it comes in a VERY HARD to find SIZE 5-5.5 which is my size).

I went back the second week so I can get two more pairs (one for my sister and one for my Mother), but, they're all gone.

I have to go search the internet and found this site. I just ordered SIX PAIRS of different styles with a 15% off for the first time customer. Wow!

Next time, I will order for more, (for my nephews and nieces as a gift). They live in a tropical country and this is the kind of footwear we wear daily.

I really love this footwear; so soft and good looking footwear…and MADE in the USA!!!!!!!!

Sizing Guide NOT accurate

By

I would give this shoe 5 star rating if it were only about quality, but you can have a lot of quality, but if you do not have a good fit, it is a total loss. I am an 8.5 so ordered the ML (8-9) size. The foot bed, at best is exactly the length of my shortest foot, (needed to be a bit longer), and too short for my other foot. In addition, as others have said, the straps too tight and don't expect that firm plastic to stretch. So, no way will this work for me and since I got such a good deal on a discount code, I wouldn't benefit to return them at reshipping costs and all. I am very disappointed as I am hesitant to even try other styles for fear of an ill fit. Bummer. I also order Indigo so please see that better review.

Ocean has changed!

By

I almost LIVED in my original pair and wanted exactly the same in a new pair. The straps on the new Ocean are shorter, especially the toe thong. I wear a M and have a narrow, thin foot. The new ones are so much tighter on the top of my foot that I am having to get another style. SO disappointed! Why did they change a best seller? The page that shows the Indigo Ocean and the regular one shows how much taller the straps are on the regular Ocean. I think the new Ocean used the forms for the Indigo, because that's how my new ones look and fit. They should update the picture to accurately represent the current Ocean!

Strap weakness?

By

I love my Oceans, and was so sad when I realized that the strap is ripping through at the point where the side strap contacts the footbed. Much to my disappointment, I've had them for two years. :( But given the point where the rip is, I have to wonder if this is a design flaw. But I love them, and I'll order another pair!!!
